Costa Rican roads - yes its true

The trip to Tapanti was only 12 km from Orosi, but the road was alternately rocky, uneven, pitted and in one place, washed out by flooding from heavy rains connected with the end of the hurricanes. It took us 45 minutes to get 12 kilometers. Our taxi driver had a flat on the way out after dropping us off in the park...
